Delete your GrooVVee account

You can delete your GrooVVee account yourself at any time, in the app or on the website. You do not need to contact anyone.

How to delete your account

1. Open the GrooVVee app (or go to https://groovvee.com) and sign in.
2. Tap You, then Settings.
3. Tap "Delete account".
4. Confirm with your password. If you signed up with your phone, Google, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft, type DELETE.

What is deleted

• Every video, song, post and file you uploaded, including the files themselves.
• Your profile: name, username, photo, bio, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth and social sign-in links.
• Your podcast shows and their episodes.
• Your push-notification registrations and call encryption keys. You are signed out on every device.

What is kept, and why

• Messages you sent to other people stay in their conversations, and comments and likes stay where they are, but they no longer show your name.
• Records of purchases and token payments are kept where the law requires financial records to be retained.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen to get back in, then follow the steps above. If you still cannot get in, e-mail support@groovvee.com from the e-mail address on the account (or tell us the phone number), and we will delete the account for you after confirming it is yours.
